Dah hampir 17 tahun tak sampai sini, padahal ramai saudara-mara sebelah emak di sini, termasuklah keluarga Pak Ngah ku Allahyarham Datuk Usman Awang @ Tongkat Waran.
Tiba di Tanjung Sedili, petrol dah tinggal suku, cuba cari stesen minyak tak jumpa-jumpa.
Jeti Tanjung Sedili
Sedili dah maju....
Tetapi pemandangan disini tetap indah......

I was there for 2 years in the 80s. It was then called Tanjung Lembu and later on changed to Tanjung Sedili. Dato' Musa Hitam was then the MP for the area (actually for Kota Tinggi which included Tanjung Lembu). There was no electricity and limited telephone lines - one for my office, one for Kastam Pencegah and so on. One day Dato Musa asked us to use our two huge generator sets to supply power to the nearby houses but before we could do that, TNB moved in.
it was a nice place to live. Nice folks and one of the best places I ever been. Thanks for the pictures - they bring back memories of my youth, fresh out of college and it was great to be transferred to Tanjung Lembu.
Dear Anonymous,
Thanks for sharing your experience... It was a nice place, there's a lot of progress and development now, no more lembu or cows roaming the town or road like they used to be, hence the name Tanjung Lembu (Cape of Cow) and hardly any tahi lembu on the road.
Nowadays there is a bridge connecting to Sedili Besar, no need for boats to cross the river.
Plan to go there again in the future...
