Last Saturday, my wife had to attend DBKL's function to at Ampang Hilir, therefore after sending her to her office, myself with two kids headed to the Lake Garden - Tasik Perdana. The children headed direct to the playground, while myself indulge in Nature Photography. For less than 2 hours, here what i got:
It is incredible that these animals survive in the heart of KL. More pictures to come...

Two Beauties, the US beauty with the "gorgeous" Russian;


The red-white&blue USAF Thunderbird's F16 Fighting Falcon parked next to the grey Royal Malaysian Air Force's Sukhoi Su30MKM.

F16 Falcon is an aging single Single Engine fighter, first introduction in 1978, more info here.

Sukhoi Su30MKM is specially built for Royal Malaysian Air Force RMAF, a combination and enhancement of several variances from earlier productions, i.e. MKI-India with French, South Africa and Russian avionics. See here.

Pre Budget 2010

The day before yesterday, Malaysiakini's journalist called me if I got any information on the 2010 Budget, the PM is about to announced tomorrow, but sorry, I'm not as privileged as some people who got close connection to the Finance Ministry.

Anyway, in my view, since this is DSN's first Budget as PM, he is facing a tough challenge:
1. Current Deficit is already 7.6% of the GDP, anymore spending will increase our Deficit to at least 8%
2. Government's coffer is receding fast with more spending. More to spend next year with 10th Malaysian Plan.
3. Dilemma to raise or reduce tax. Raise - out of favor among, reduce please a lot of people; Corporate Tax, raise - lower profit for corporate, reduce - reduce govt's source of fund.
4. Sin Tax; tax on tobacco already increased recently.

What the govt can do is to prop up the GLC's either to make a higher profit or divest the companies and keep a "Golden Share".

Just wait for tomorrow at 4p.m.

OTK in Tight Spot

When one in power, almost everybody supports (bodek) him/her, but when he/she loose the "grip", friends turn nemesis. After the 10/10 EGM showdown, OTK is not just losing his grip on presidential post but also losing his so-called supporters, loyalists, friends...

"Do not do unto others as you would have them do unto you..."

He should remember that, what he had done on CSL is haunting him. His former supporters knows that OTK's supports are divided and for them, to forego their current position in the party for a fresh election will mean they might lose forever their privileges and post, as they are still being seen as the supporters of a weak outgoing president.

So truly there is a third hand in the EGM, and they consists of ... (censored - nanti kena saman)

PKR huru-hara...

Apa dah jadi pada PKR? Tak habis-habis dengan "internal crisis", Zaid ambil "Sabbatical Leave" dan PKR Sabah bergolak pulak tak mahu Azmin.

Apa yang berlaku?

Betulkah dakwaan dalam akhbar fasal "dictatorship" dalam kepimpinan PKR?

Atau semuanya gimik untuk memenangi balik sokongan selepas kelihatan putik-putik kejayaan 1Malaysia?

Jangan lupa ramai dalam PKR adalah "strategist" dan "schemer", pakar perancang dan first class acts. Pilihanraya Sarawak dalam masa terdekat, bila?
