Good Bye Tun

Why the fuss over Tun Mahathir's quit decision? If he wants to leave, let him.

It all started with a dare, like an old Malay sayings; "terlajak perahu boleh diundur, terlajak kata, terimalah padah". A dare made by opposition members, and unwitting acceptance, what a shame. All the newspapers dedicated several pages to the news, last night several minutes was dedicated by TV to sensationalize the issue.

I agree that he still commands strong supporters, all indebted to him for his generosity during his "rule", but now we are in the 21st century, life has to go on. I agree with Tun Musa Hitam; "Mahathirism" concept is outdated. Tun Mahathir already retired and retire he should be. If he just keep on the sideline, we will continue to respect him as a highly dignified "Statesman". Now people are questioning his credibility and principles.

As a person who looks into politics as an outsiders, I am very sad to see our ex-Supremo is still thinking that he commands the Nation. He talks about people kissing his hands etc... hello sir, than you are in power, now we just respect you as an elder, statesmen, ex-leader, ex-major domo, with tons of money but no longer in power to give billion dollar projects.

And Tun, please muhasabah yourself, what happened to your previous predecessors; Tunku Abdul Rahman & Tun Hussein, then to your Deputies; Tun Musa Hitam, Tun Ghafar Baba, Datuk Seri Anwar, then the rest like Tun Salleh Abbas, George Seah and Wan Sulaiman Pak Wan Teh, the late Tan Sri Malek and others including the families of all these people affected by the power.

Even though I am not an UMNO member nor any party in Malaysia, I am sad to see an institution turn into chaos. My plea to Tun, Pak Lah and all others please refer to the One, the Almighty, the Powerful Allah s.w.t. ask for directions, there are ups and downs in our life cycle and we will not live forever.

Al-Fatihah.

3 isteri + 1 lagi

Nak kata apa rezeki dia.

Review Teach Math&Science in English

I strongly feels the teaching of Math & Science in English should continue, BUT i felt that the implementation should be reviewed.

Children born among the urban, middle-upper class families will have no problem in understanding and adapting to study in English, especially those english speaking families.

What about those born in the rural areas, where the parents are illiterate in English, how are they going to guide their children?

To me, please let the Children understand English in their first year, teach them the Mathematical jargon - addition, add, plus, increase, decrease, subtract, minus, divide, multiply, times. I saw my daughter's first year mathematic book: plus, add and addition was used - for a non-English speaking kids this is really confusing.

Please do your study or research down on the field, go to Kampung-kampung and meet all the rural teachers get feedback from orang-orang kampung and rural teachers. Upgrade all those government kindergarten - Tadika Kemas & Perpaduan. Get on your feet, we don't need assumptions and behind-the-desk research. Put yourself in the rural and lower income group shoes, you will understand better.

What will be in tomorrow's newpaper

Almost everyday when you open all the Malaysian newspaper dedicated solely for the squabbling between political parties in Malaysia. The infighting and finger pointing among the members of the winning parties for declining support, the new coalition government in several states in their fault finding mission, the blame game, the treason charge, etc. etc. etc.

Please Stop all this nonsense, it is very childish to start finger pointing, blaming each other for the losses. Come on man, all of you are Full-grown Adult chosen to represent the people in a honorable house, just get your people together, abolish those quota system and let the democratic system flow. If anybody is not up to OUR standard, will be voted out - Fair?

As for the States winner, please, stop finding fault but move on, you have got a very rich, resourceful and investment strong States, prove to us that you are the better government, then we will continue to vote for you. Slacked, then bye-bye.

Disrespect to the Monarchy, why the double standard, why only charge one person just because he is from the opposition. the first person should be charged should have been the no. 1 person, second the ex-majordomo from the most Northern states, third the ex-excos and his counterparts from one of the east coast states for going against the Rulers decision. Ironically, the party are fighting for Ketuanan and Kesultanan Melayu! But when a single person just mention about the separation of powers, POW! he was blamed for going against the rulers!!!

We as educated, adult Malaysian are fed-up with all these, let's just move on. Show what you can improve, then we will vote for you, hear what we voters say, understand what we as voters want not just your ignorance, childish, infighting and finger pointing ways.

Tomorrow's paper will be the same blame game. Journalist and newspaper editors are taking advantage to sell their papers with all these issues. Please settle our issues, our grouses, we just want to get our live going, to feed our family, to get our business going. OK.
