Ameno apa-ape aje

Ramai orang-orang Pak Lah kecundang; Muhammad Mohd Taib, Shahrir, Azalina, Noraini Ahmad, Johari Baharum, Mohamad Hassan... Tapi orang Khairy pulak berjaya; Ismail Sabri, Shaziman...

Ketua Pemuda umno - Upset

Satu lagi upset?

Macamana nak jadi Timbalan Perdana Menteri kalau cakap omputih pun tak reti?

Lihatlah kebijakan orang ameno, kerana terlalu bijak, sampai "habis" bijaknya, dah kosong sampai tak kenal yang mana intan yang mana kaca...

Kapitan House Restaurant

Yesterday we traveled to Melaka, to send my daughter back to MRSM Jasin. On the way we decided to detour to Banda Hilir for lunch. Last few weeks we saw on Astro's Warung Kita the host introduced a couple of eating places in the programs. So we decided to vote which place to go, we shortlisted 3 eateries; Restoran Indori (minang food), Restoran Asam pedas Selera Kampung and Kapitan House (nyonya cuisine).

My missus voted for Asam Pedas, myself voted Indori but all my children wants to try Kapitan House. Actually we forgot the address, but nevertheless, we still try to look for it, circling a couple of times around Melaka Raya. And as usual the driver (myself) will be the first to spot the place. Luckily I got a parking directly in front of the restaurant.

When we entered the shop we were greeted by the manager, and he told me that even on sundays we must display the parking tickets on the dashboard, being outsiders, we are not prepared and he offered me an hour coupon for free. Thank you so much! Great service.

Sorry no photos, left my cameras in the car and too lazy to fetch it.

We had Ayam Pongteh, Prawn masak lemak nanas, Fish fried in salt with sambal, Nyonya otak-otak, sambal squid and white rice. It was incredible, delicious and salute to the chef.

The restaurant is co-owned by a TV and stage baba-nyonya comedian, Kenny or better known as Bibik Kim Neo on stage (dressed as a matriarch of baba-nyonya family). Unfortunately he was not available that day due to some show in KL. We missed the opportunity to meet him but i promise my kids to return if we come to Melaka. We were told he owns several factories to process his food product and he is the master-chef; a qualified chef and cook.

umno diciplinary board vs MACC

Our economy is shrinking fast, but the politicians are still unfazed except about their position and opportunities to rule and to outdo each other.

They even resorted to money politic just to get their way. Then came the disciplinary board announcing their decisions. The question is why now? When the party election is just days away? Don't blame the people when they came up with conspiracy theory and all.

I wonder, why the disciplinary board announce their verdict to the press instead of to the accused first. And these people is in the midst of a conference in front of their supporters, hundreds of miles away in Ipoh. And the cheek of it is that almost all supporters received the news from their cellphone's sms'es. What a shame and humiliating to the accused.

Why was the decision done in en bloc, it seems that the disciplinary board are playing judge, jury, prosecutor and executor all-in-one, for all the case.

And then why was the case of Norza and Azalina were not investigated by the board? Is there a jurisdiction line drawn between umno disciplinary board and MACC?

Gambar Kg Telok

Belacak @ Tembakul @ Mudskipper.

Jambatan baru dan lama

Old & new crossing path

Tersadai air surut.

Seafood @ Kg Teluk, PD

Inilah Medan Ikan Bakar Kg Telok.

Umph!
Pari bakarnya kurang menyengat sebab cicahnya kurang power, perlu improvise lagi sambal kicap atau sambal asam macam kat belakang istana negara (jln bellamy).

Inilah gerai ikan bakar/seafood.

Seafood by the Bay

Hi, it has been sometime now, today i would like to share with you, makan-makan place.

Again it is at Kg Teluk, Pasir Panjang, Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. Now i include the photos for you to judge. Actually we had a very early dinner, it was only 5pm when we reach the place. We ordered sea bass steamed with lime (ikan siakap masak stim limau),
grilled stingray (pari bakar),
chillie fried clams (lala goreng berlada)
and fried calamari (sotong goreng tepung),
and it was eaten with rice - nasi lemak.

It was really overwhelming as all of us short of breath after finishing all the dishes. everybody enjoyed our dinner and each of us had two pack of nasi lemak except my wife who took only one and my youngest daughter finishup 3 packets.

And the bill was RM88.20 for the whole meal, inclusive of five iced lemon tea.

For muslims, not to worry, a newly built wakaf for prayers is just next to the eatery. Since the post is limited, wait for the part 2 soon.

Worrying Economic Condition

Malaysian GDP for the 4th Quarter 2008 grew only +0.1%, compared to +4.7% in the 3rd Quarter 2008. That is a major setback to the economic figure, where earlier the government was confidently and optimistically forecast a +5.0% growth for the whole year 2008, instead when they announced it last week it was only +4.6%.

But the issue was downplayed and hardly noticed by the general public because the politicians and the mainstream medias were more focused on the political squabbles to control Perak state government. After all, an increase of 0.1% is still a positive growth!

What is more worrying is that the GDP growth against quarter to quarter grew -3.6%, I repeat contracted 3.6%, or decreased 3.6% but it was never highlighted in any mainstream articles. The figure is supposed to be very worrying for the business and corporate players, but everybody is just saying that the mini budget on March 10, will address the issue.

My main worry now is the impact of recession and probability of a deflation.

Anyway, as usual, the government is always in denial until the problems burst...

Pathetic Malaysian Politic

It is very pathetic! I don't know how to describe the Malaysian Politician...

Hey guys, we are in economic crisis, and we may fall deeper than 1997, but you guys are still fighting over for power, seats and political standings.

Why don't you guys get your head together in the parliament, in each state assembly how to face the economic crisis looming over our nation, region and the world.

We should act now, all the giant international corporates with capital equivalent to Malaysia's international reserve are tumbling and requires larges doses of fund, we Malaysian are fighting to control a state. Very pathetic! Please put your pea sized brain together and solve national issues.

I am very disappointed, fed-up, frustrated and dejected by the current political situation.

We should focus more on the economic situation, the welfare of the people, the future of our nation but these power hungry politicians are still blinded. Blinded by their greed for power and swells their ego. Power bring money, ego bring respect?

I remembered when i first highlighted two years ago the possible impact of the sub-prime crisis, my CEO just shot down my concern as just a US internal crisis and will not affect the global. But it was just the tip of an iceberg, later it escalate as we found out, all the financial geniuses had manipulated the investment into a chaotic string of investment that bring credit crunch and the fall of several international corporate giants.

Come on Malaysian, especially Politician, wake-up to the real world and please make Malaysia a peaceful country. Drop your guns and work hand in hand.
