Trip to Kuala Selangor

Last Saturday, went to Kuala Selangor to buy fresh fish.

Bought Giant Prawn or "Udang Galah" (RM45 per kilo), red snapper, mantis prawn, "Sembilang" (catfish), big sized Prawn.... all fresh from Pasir Penambang Market in Kuala Selangor, then headed to dried salted fish stalls a few kilometer further up.

Decided to head north just to check out any other attractions. Before reaching Tanjung Karang town saw a signboard for "Warung Ibu" - selling Nasi Ambeng - javanese style mixed rice: white rice, fried noodles, serunding (grated coconut), chicken (fried or cooked in black soy-sauce) the place was a hit with so many people. Many cars parked on the lawn and people crowding to eat.

Tried it and, well not bad.... they were featured on TV3's "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan".

After that drive south towards Klang, upon reaching Jeram after Sg Buloh town, turn to the Jeram Beach to check the beach.... what a let down, the water is almost a kilometer from the beach.....! After that headed home, and next day surprise, surprise, woke up in the morning and saw a firefly in the house... how it managed to follow us home???
